Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions from US-wide pallet buyers and sellers.

How fast can United States Pallets deliver?

Same-day or next-day shipping is standard in our core Southeast/Mid-Atlantic footprint (FL, GA, AL, TN, MS, SC, NC, KY, VA). For other states, scheduled weekly delivery is standard with expedited 2-5 day options available. Quote response under 2 business hours.

What's the minimum order quantity?

Buy-side minimum is 50 pallets per order. Sell-side (pallet buyback program) minimum is 250 pallets per single-size load - no mixed-size loads on the buyback side. Volume tiers reduce per-pallet rates automatically as cumulative volume grows.

Do you ship to all 50 states?

Yes. Same-day shipping is standard in our core Southeast/Mid-Atlantic footprint. Scheduled weekly delivery covers the rest of the continental US. Hawaii and Alaska ship via partner network with extended transit time.

What pallet types do you offer?

New GMA 48x40 pallets (the US standard for retail and warehouse compliance), recycled Grade A and Grade B GMA pallets, custom-size pallets for non-standard product geometry, ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets for international export, food-grade FSMA-compliant pallets for grocery and beverage distribution, block pallets for AGV-automated warehouses, and stringer pallets for manual handling operations.

Do you offer ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets for international export?

Yes. ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets ship with IPPC stamps and full ISPM-15 documentation - required for international shipments to all WTO member countries. Common for accounts at major US ports including Los Angeles/Long Beach, Houston, Savannah, Charleston, New York/New Jersey, Norfolk, Baltimore, Tacoma/Seattle, and others.

Do you offer food-grade pallets?

Yes. Food-grade pallet inventory meets FSMA Sanitary Transportation Rule thresholds and ships with food-grade certifications. Common for grocery distribution centers, food processors, beverage bottlers, and packaged goods manufacturers.

Can United States Pallets handle pallet buyback?

Yes. We buy back used pallets from collectors, recyclers, warehouses, and 3PLs. Minimum 250 pallets per load, single-size loads only (no mixed sizes). Fast payment via ACH - typically same-day or net-7 depending on volume. Pickup arranged on standard outbound delivery routes for backhaul efficiency.

How do I establish credit terms?

Submit a credit application with three trade references. Approval typically processes within 48 hours. New accounts ship prepaid or COD for the first 1-3 loads while credit is being established. After the trial period, net-30 terms are standard. Volume accounts can negotiate longer terms (net-45 or net-60).

Do you handle standing-order programs?

Yes. Standing-order programs work well for accounts running predictable weekly or biweekly volume - typical setup time is one week. Standing orders lock in tiered pricing, reserve delivery slots, and run on autopilot in the background while your operations team focuses on production rather than supplier coordination.

What documentation accompanies each load?

Standard loads ship with BOL, packing list, and grade certification. Heat-treated loads add IPPC stamps and full ISPM-15 documentation. Pharma-grade loads add batch records and quality certifications. Food-grade loads add FSMA compliance documentation. All documentation is sent electronically before delivery and stored permanently for audit retrieval.
