GMA 48x40 inches = 1219x1016mm. EUR 1200x800mm = 47.2x31.5 inches. EUR is narrower but slightly shorter.

Construction

GMA: 4-way notched stringer with 7 deckboards top, 5 bottom. EUR: block pallet with EPAL/UIC certification, 11 deckboards top, full 4-way entry.

Treatment

EUR pallets are ISPM-15 heat-treated by default with EPAL/EUR sealing. GMA pallets require ISPM-15 stamping for export, additional $0.85-1.10 per pallet.

Cost

New EUR pallets: $25-40 (imported to US premium); new GMA $11-18. EUR pool exchange in Europe extends life cycles.

Cross-Border Shipments
