Cold-Chain Tiers

Tier 1: refrigerated (2-8C). Tier 2: frozen (-18 to -25C). Tier 3: ultra-low (-70C for some vaccines, mRNA).

Pallet Validation Specs

Kiln-dried (8-15% MC validated). Dimensional stability under temperature cycling. ASTM D1185 dynamic load at cold temperature. Sealed deck for condensation prevention.

Validation Process

1. Vendor provides kiln-drying validation. 2. Customer conducts on-site testing (3-month pilot). 3. Document pallet performance: dimensional stability, load capacity, structural integrity. 4. Approve for full deployment.
