USDA Organic Overview

USDA National Organic Program (NOP) per 7 CFR Part 205. Prohibits chemical residues in production/handling.

Pallet Requirements

No chemical residues on pallets contacting organic products. Kiln-dried wood preferred (no methyl bromide). FSMA-aligned sanitation. Sealed deck for produce contact.

Documentation

Vendor declaration of no chemical residues, kiln-drying validation, FSMA Sanitary Transportation, FSC chain-of-custody (preferred for ESG-aligned organic).
