Dimensions

Length x Width x Height in inches (e.g., 48x40x6). Specify entry pattern (2-way, partial 4-way, full 4-way).

Construction

Stringer or block. Number of stringers (3-4 stringer; 9-block typical). Deckboard count and thickness. Wood species (mixed hardwood, oak, maple, pine, fir).

Load Ratings

ASTM D1185 dynamic, static, and racked ratings. Standard GMA: 4,600 static / 2,800 racked. Heavy-duty: 5,500+ static / 3,800+ racked.

Treatment

Kiln-dried (8-15% MC for FSMA/cold-chain). Heat-treated ISPM-15 (56C core 30+ min for export). Methyl bromide (legacy, declining).

Compliance

NWPCA Uniform Standard grade (new, A, B, C). FSMA Sanitary Transportation alignment. GDP-compliance (pharma). ISPM-15 IPPC stamp (export). FSC chain-of-custody (ESG).

Volume & Schedule

Annual volume forecast. Delivery frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly). Dispatch origin preference. Special seasonal considerations.
